Thanks to my team for sharing this clip. I certainly don’t speak for every business owner, but I know that when I started, there were so may people – who I think had good intentions – challenging me on the risks and requirements of entrepreneurship. Balancing a healthy disregard for their fears while also fueling my passion for starting a company was one of the only ways I made it from day one to year five – and, now, beyond and forward – to where there are far fewer pessimistic voices.
Glad that our area has a chapter like NAWBO Greater Raleigh to help amplify these voices of female entrepreneurship, championing women business owners and the next generation of founders.
