What's something you're working on?
"A month or so ago I started reading materials relating to setting intentions and the 'law of attraction' in order to enhance my professional experiences. I find the material fascinating."
Tell us about your greatest accomplishment.
"Coordinating a two week Gwich’in language revitalization institute. It brought together over 20 elders, had 8 high school media interns and was featured on HBO’s 'Vice News Tonight' in August 2019."
What is the greatest struggle you've overcome, and what did you learn from it?
"A divorce after 18 years of marriage had me questioning my worth and some of my relationships. I found a new sense of self and how to identify and change maladaptive relationship patterns."
I’ve been fortunate enough to be in supervisory positions that allowed me to recruit and advance female talent, especially other Alaska Native women. Amplifying their ideas and contributions empowers us all."
What's your mantra?
“Show up, do the work.”
"It reminds me to be present in all aspects of my life, personal and professional. It helps me focus when I need it and allows me space to step back when I need to recharge."
