Caroline
Griffin

I am currently balancing my full time job at RIoT, volunteering as Chair Elect for the InStepp Board of Directors, and planning my wedding. Talk about actively practicing stress and time management!”
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Changing my career and completing my bachelor's degree from NC State University's College of Natural Resources in my *late* twenties while working full time.
If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.
"That quote is from Dolly Parton, someone I admire for many reasons, and it's my day-to-day mantra because it helps me to remember that everything I say and do impacts others. I believe there is always room to be more kind, caring, and compassionate."

What's the greatest struggle you've overcome?
Losing my Momma unexpectedly
at the age of 22. Losing my Mom forced me to learn that tomorrow is never promised and that you truly have to live your best life.
The two most adventurous things I have ever done are:
(1) Sit in the windowsill of a race car during a victory lap and (2) Kiss the Blarney Stone upside down in Ireland. Would definitely do both again!

What's an activity that calms you?
Listening to my many vinyl records of all genres of music. I believe music is a form of therapy and it helps us to understand other people's views and cultures."
